PPG Aerospace Business - Clarity® Transparency Cleaning System is a two-part cleaning method that can easily remove debris from coated and uncoated plastic transparencies with an emphasis on removing insect residue. The proprietary blend also affords additional protection to the substrate and facilitates future cleanings, thereby potentially increasing the transparency’s useful life and reducing maintenance time.

The cleaning process first utilizes wet wipes that are formulated to remove the superficial debris. The secondary dry wipe is used to remove any haze that remains on the substrate. The package conveniently comes with both wipes sealed in individual compartments. Wipes are disposable and not resealable. Recommended one-time use only. The cloths have been carefully selected to give good durability to the single use application without damaging the coating.
The packaging typically contains 2 wet wipes and 1 dry wipe which can cover approximately 15 feet (4.5 meters). Normal use is expected to utilize one wipe. Where extensive debris is present, additional wipes may be necessary.
